Church Services at St Mary's

We have three services that take place at St Mary's every Sunday:

9.30am Family Service

This is an informal service that lasts approximately 1 hour.

Children and young people are very welcome at this service and can join in with Junior Church or Fuel Sundays.  On the first Sunday of the month we have Holy Communion and on the fourth Sunday of the month baptisms are held as part of the service.  Fifth Sundays are often all age services, when the children come into the main church for the full hour and we worship together.

11.15am Traditional Service

This is a traditional service that lasts approximately 1 hour.

There are no children's or youth groups that run alongside this service.  Holy Communion is celebrated on the 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays.

7.00pm Contemporary Service

This is a more vibrant service that lasts approximately 90 minutes.

There are no children's or youth groups that run alongside this service, but young people are encouraged to attend this service.  The worship is usually led by a band.  This service allows time and space for people to engage with God in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.

Refreshments are available after all of our services in the Church Centre foyer.  This is a great opportunity to meet up and make friends.

In addition to Sunday mornings, we also hold a monthly service during the week:

Midweek Communion

Holy Communion is celebrated at St Mary's on the second Wednesday of each month.  This service follows the Book of Common Prayer.

After each service refreshments are served.
