The Annual Parochial Church Meeting will take place on
Sunday 28th April 2024 at 5.15pm in St Mary's Church Hall
ELECTORAL ROLL
In accordance with church governance, the Electoral Roll was open for revision from Sunday 17th March 2024 to Sunday 7th April 2024.
The revision has now been complete and an updated copy of the electoral roll is available to view here and also in the church centre.
The roll will open again after the APCM.
MEETING OF THE PARISHIONERS
The meeting of the parishioners takes place before the APCM in order to elect the churchwardens.
Sunday 28th April 2024, 5.15pm in the Church Hall
The official notice of this meeting is on display in the church foyer.
If you would like to stand for the role of churchwarden, please contact Steve Rankin.
ANNUAL PAROCHIAL CHURCH MEETING (APCM)
The APCM immediately follows the Meeting of the Parishioners
Sunday 23rd April 2023, 5.30pm in the Church Hall
This meeting will include the election on the PCC and Deanery Synod and some ministry updates from the last year.
The official notice of this meeting is on display in the church foyer.
If you would like to stand for one of the 15 places on the PCC please read the leaflet “An overview of the PCC”, available here, speak to Steve Rankin or Nathan Gregory and then complete a nomination form which can be downloaded here.
Criteria for standing for the PCC:
You must be at least 16 years of age
You must be on the Electoral Roll for at least 6 months if you are over 18
You must be a communicant
You must be nominated and seconded by other members of the Electoral Roll
Please be aware that as PCC members act as Trustees for St Mary Magdalene and Sale West Community Church, once appointed to the PCC, you will be required to complete a Trustee Eligibility Form and an enhanced DBS check
