We are starting a new four week series looking at the book of Ruth. The story of Ruth and Boaz stand out as a massive beacon of light as they live in a way that is countercultural to all those around them. Ruth 1 opens in a world marked by famine, displacement, grief and uncertainty. It is a time of the judges which is short hand for a time of moral and spiritual decline in Israel. We’re invited to pay attention to how God works in the shadows of suffering, how faithfulness can take surprising forms, and how unlikely people can become signs of hope in the hardest seasons. Revd. Nathan Gregory will unpack the word and introduce us to Ruth Chapter 1. Join us a at 9:30am for teaching, live music and prayer.
