Bishop Mark will be joining us for a Confirmation Service. The talk this week will look at the second week of 2 Corinthians 4. Paul writes to a church confused by weakness, his and their own. They expected strength, polish and triumph, instead they saw affliction, pressure, and fragility. Paul reframes everything: weakness is not a threat to the gospel but the place where God’s power shines most clearly. Over the next four weeks we will look through the chapter following the journey Paul takes us on, from discouragement to renewed courage, ·from fragility to purpose, from pressure to perseverance and from present struggle to eternal hope. Bishop Mark will weave in to his talk 2Cor 4:7-12- 'Cracked but Carrying Treasure'. Join us at 9:30am for teaching, celebration, live music and prayer.
