Children's Worker
Could you be our next children’s worker who helps our younger disciples connect with God, know His love, grow in faith, and learn how to show that love to the world?
St Mary's are looking for a passionate and creative children’s worker to join our vibrant children, youth and families team. This role is for someone with a heart to serve, nurture and disciple primary aged children and equip them to show Jesus’ love to others. If you have a longing to see children connect with God in meaningful and joy-filled ways this role might be for you!
At St Mary’s, children and youth ministry sits at the heart of who we are. You’ll join a team committed to the Church of England’s call to become a younger, more diverse church and to ‘double the number of children and young active disciples’. You will play a key role in shaping the life of our children, youth and families’ ministry.
Hours:
16 hours per week
Salary:
£11,689 (£27,030 FTE)
Contract:
Fixed-term contract for an initial period of three years

There is a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 for the post-holder to be a practicing Christian.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974). Appointment is subject to a satisfactory DBS check to enhanced level with a check of the barred lists.
