WHAT NEXT? 

As I work towards retirement from my role as Parish Finance Officer, the date is looming ahead rather quickly, and my thoughts are very much questioning 'what next?'
 
'It is time to set down the security of my job' were words I heard at a summer conference last year and helped me to decide that the time has come and to wait for God to reveal His plans for the next season of life.  Only He knows what those plans are.
 
I have often asked myself how I got here!  From that first step over the church threshold 30 years ago I had no idea then that I would work for God and His church.
 
The journey has been one of growth, opportunity, encouragement, along with the ups and downs of any job but I have been blessed by the support of many and am very grateful to everyone who has journeyed with me.
 
I hope my successor, Insook Snudden, will feel welcomed and supported too as she begins this new season in her life.
