Open Doors

Open Doors is a ministry serving the 360 million Christians worldwide who are persecuted for their faith to follow Jesus no matter what the cost.

It began in 1955 with a young Dutchman following his calling to strengthen what remains and is about to die (Revelation ch. 3 v. 2). He became known as Brother Andrew. Open Doors grew from his travels and, today is active in more than 70 countries around the world, serving and supporting the millions of Christians who face persecution and oppression.

Around the world vulnerable Christian communities and Open Doors partners are experiencing the blessings of technology, it can help reach and encourage distant believers, spread the gospel and show persecuted Christians they are not alone. Even though it can be a weapon of persecution ( i.e. monitoring online and CCTV ), it can be a valuable tool to connect people.
